Please note that WhatsApp Business gains access to the address book of the mobile device we use for this purpose and automatically transmits phone numbers stored in the address book to a server of the parent company, Meta Platforms Inc., in the USA.

For the dispatch of our WhatsApp newsletter, we therefore use a mobile device in whose address book only the WhatsApp contact details of our newsletter recipients are stored. This ensures that every person whose WhatsApp contact details are stored in our address book has already consented to the transmission of their WhatsApp phone number from the address books of their chat contacts in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR when they first used the app on their device by accepting the WhatsApp Terms of Service. 8.3 Use of payment service providers

In this case, your data will be passed on exclusively for the purpose of payment processing with the provider and only to the extent necessary for this purpose.
- Apple Pay

If you choose the "Apple Pay" payment method from Apple Distribution International (Apple), Hollyhill Industrial Estate, Hollyhill, Cork, Ireland, payment processing takes place via the "Apple Pay" function of your device operated with iOS, watchOS, or macOS by charging a payment card stored in "Apple Pay." Apple Pay uses security features integrated into your device's hardware and software to protect your transactions. To authorize a payment, you must enter a code you have previously set, as well as verify using your device's "Face ID" or "Touch ID" function.

For the purpose of payment processing, your information provided during the ordering process, along with information about your order, is transmitted to Apple in encrypted form. Apple then encrypts this data again with a developer-specific key before the data is transmitted to the payment service provider of the payment card stored in Apple Pay to carry out the payment. Encryption ensures that only the website where the purchase was made can access the payment data. After the payment has been made, Apple sends your device account number and a transaction-specific, dynamic security code to the original website to confirm successful payment.

If personal data is processed during the described transmissions, the processing takes place exclusively for the purpose of payment processing in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR.

Apple retains anonymized transaction data, including the approximate purchase amount, approximate date and time, and whether the transaction was completed successfully. Through anonymization, any personal reference is completely excluded. Apple uses the anonymized data to improve "Apple Pay" and other Apple products and services.

When you use Apple Pay on your iPhone or Apple Watch to complete a purchase you initiated via Safari on a Mac, the Mac and the authorization device communicate over an encrypted channel on Apple's servers. Apple does not process or store any of this information in a format that can identify you. You can disable the ability to use Apple Pay on your Mac in your iPhone's settings. Go to "Wallet & Apple Pay" and turn off "Allow Payments on Mac."

The encrypted information can then only be used by Google to associate it with existing Google accounts that the affected individuals have set up.
The processing serves to refine measurement data, improves cross-device user tracking, and enables the integration of analysis results into advertising personalization and conversion tracking functions of Google Ads.

11) Retargeting/ Remarketing and Conversion Tracking

11.1 Meta Pixel with Advanced Matching

Within our online offering, we use the "Meta Pixel" service of the following provider in advanced matching mode: Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Meta")

If a user clicks on an advertisement placed by us on Facebook or Instagram, the URL of our linked page is extended by a parameter with the help of "Meta Pixel." After redirection, this URL parameter is then entered into the user's browser by a cookie that our linked page itself sets. In addition, this cookie captures specific customer data such as the email address that we collect on our website linked to the Facebook or Instagram ad during processes such as completed purchases, account logins, or registrations (advanced matching). The cookie is then read and allows for the transmission of the data, including the specific customer data, to Meta.

We use "Meta Pixel" with advanced matching to make our advertisements (so-called "Ads") on Facebook and/or Instagram more effective and to ensure they correspond to user interests or exhibit certain characteristics (e.g., interests in certain topics or products determined based on visited websites), which we transmit to Meta (so-called "Custom Audiences").

Furthermore, we analyze the effectiveness of our advertisements by tracking whether users were redirected to our website after clicking an ad (conversion). Compared to the standard version of "Meta Pixel," the advanced matching function helps us measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns better by capturing more attributed conversions.

All transmitted data is stored and processed by Meta, so that an assignment to the respective user profile is possible and Meta can use the data for its own advertising purposes in accordance with Meta's Data Policy (https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/). The data can enable Meta and its partners to serve ads on and off Facebook.

All processing described above, particularly the setting of cookies for reading information on the device used, will only be carried out if you have given us your express consent to do so in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future by deactivating this service in the "Cookie Consent Tool" provided on the website.

We have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider, which ensures the protection of our site visitors' data and prohibits unauthorized disclosure to third parties.

The information generated by Meta is generally transmitted to a Meta server and stored there; in this context, transmission to servers of Meta Platforms Inc. in the USA may also occur.

For data transfers to the USA, the provider has joined the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which ensures compliance with the European level of data protection based on an adequacy decision by the European Commission.

11.2 Google Ads Remarketing

This website uses retargeting technology from the following provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland

For this purpose, Google sets a cookie in your device's browser, which automatically enables interest-based advertising by means of a pseudonymous cookie ID and based on the pages you visit. Any further data processing only takes place if you have agreed to Google that your internet and app browser history may be linked by Google with your Google account and information from your Google account used to personalize ads that you view on the web. If, in this case, you are logged in to Google while visiting our website, Google uses your data together with Google Analytics data to create and define target group lists for cross-device remarketing. For this, your personal data is temporarily linked by Google with Google Analytics data to form target groups. In the course of using Google Ads Remarketing, personal data may also be transmitted to the servers of Google LLC. in the USA.

All processing described above, particularly the setting of cookies for reading information on the device used, will only be carried out if you have given us your express consent to do so in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. Without this grant of consent, retargeting technology will not be used during your visit to our site.

You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future. To exercise your revocation, please deactivate this service in the "Cookie Consent Tool" provided on the website.

For data transfers to the USA, the provider has joined the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which ensures compliance with the European level of data protection based on an adequacy decision by the European Commission.

Details on the processing initiated by Google and Google's handling of data from websites can be found here: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites

Further information on Google's privacy policy can be found here: https://business.safety.google/intl/de/privacy/ and https://www.google.de/policies/privacy/

11.3 Elevar

This website uses the conversion tracking technology of the following provider: Elevar LLC, 520 Folly Road, Ste 25 #140, Charleston, SC 29412, USA

If you have reached our website via an advertisement on the provider's domain, the success of the advertisement can be tracked with the help of cookies and/or comparable technologies (tracking pixels, web beacons, pings, or HTTP requests).

For this purpose, certain end-device and browser information, potentially including your IP address, is read via the tracking technology in order to record and evaluate user actions predefined by us (e.g., completed transactions, leads, search queries on the website, views of product pages). This allows for the creation of statistics regarding usage behavior on our website after being redirected from an advertisement, which serves us in optimizing our offering.
All processing described above, in particular the setting of cookies for reading information on the end-device used, will only be performed if you have given us your express consent to do so in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can revoke your given consent at any time with effect for the future by deactivating this service in the "Cookie Consent Tool" provided on the website.

We have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider, which ensures the protection of our site visitors' data and prohibits unauthorized disclosure to third parties.

For data transfers to the USA, the provider relies on standard contractual clauses of the European Commission, which are intended to ensure compliance with the European level of data protection.

11.4 Google Ads Conversion Tracking

This website uses the online advertising program "Google Ads" and, as part of Google Ads, the conversion tracking of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google").

We use the Google Ads offering to draw attention to our attractive offers with the help of advertising materials (so-called Google Adwords) on external websites. We can determine how successful individual advertising measures are in relation to the data of the advertising campaigns. Our objective here is to display advertisements that are of interest to you, to make our website more interesting for you, and to achieve a fair calculation of the advertising costs incurred.

The cookie for conversion tracking is set when a user clicks on an ad placed by Google. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your end device. These cookies generally lose their validity after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages of this website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. Each Google Ads client receives a different cookie. Cookies can thus not be tracked via the websites of Google Ads clients. The information obtained with the help of the conversion cookie serves to create conversion statistics for Google Ads clients who have opted for conversion tracking. The clients learn the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page provided with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that can be used to identify users personally.

As part of the use of Google Ads, personal data may also be transmitted to the servers of Google LLC in the USA.

Details on the processing initiated by Google Ads Conversion Tracking and on Google's handling of data from websites can be found here: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites

You can also permanently object to the setting of cookies by Google Ads Conversion Tracking by downloading and installing the browser plug-in from Google available at the following link:
https://support.google.com/My-Ad-Center-Help/answer/12155656?hl=de

In order to address users whose data we have received in the context of business or business-like relationships with advertising that is even more tailored to their interests, we use a customer match function within the framework of Google Ads. To do this, we transmit one or more files containing aggregated customer data (primarily email addresses and telephone numbers) to Google electronically. In this process, Google does not gain access to clear data, but automatically encrypts the information in the customer files during the transmission process using a special algorithm. The encrypted information can then only be used by Google to match it to existing Google accounts created by the affected persons. This enables the display of personalized advertising across all Google services linked to the respective Google account.

Customer data is only transmitted to Google if you have given us your express consent to do so in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can revoke this consent to us at any time with effect for the future. Further information on Google's data protection measures regarding the customer match function can be found here: https://support.google.com/google-ads/answer/6334160?hl=de&ref_topic=10550182
Google's privacy policy can be viewed here: https://business.safety.google/intl/de/privacy/ and https://www.google.de/policies/privacy/

11.5 Google Marketing Platform

This website uses the online marketing tool Google Marketing Platform operated by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("GMP").

GMP uses cookies to serve ads that are relevant to users, to improve campaign performance reports, or to prevent a user from seeing the same ads multiple times. Via a cookie ID, Google records which ads are served in which browser and can thus prevent them from being displayed multiple times. Furthermore, GMP can use cookie IDs to record so-called conversions that are related to ad requests. This is the case, for example, if a user sees a GMP ad and later visits the advertiser's website using the same browser and buys something via this website. According to Google, GMP cookies contain no personal information.
Due to the marketing tools used, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection with the Google server.

We have no influence over the scope and further use of the data collected by Google through the use of this tool and therefore inform you according to our level of knowledge: Through the integration of GMP, Google receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding part of our website or clicked on an ad from us. If you are registered with a Google service, Google can associate the visit with your account. Even if you are not registered with Google or have not logged in, there is a possibility that the provider will find out and store your IP address. As part of the use of GMP, personal data may also be transmitted to the servers of Google LLC in the USA.

For data transfers to the USA, the provider has joined the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which ensures compliance with the European level of data protection on the basis of an adequacy decision by the European Commission.

11.6 ReConvert

This website uses the conversion tracking technology of the following provider: StilyoApps Ltd., Dishon St. 9, 13825 Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel

If you are interested in further products or promotions via advertisements displayed on the order confirmation page after placing an order, the success of these advertisements can be tracked with the help of cookies and/or comparable technologies (tracking pixels, web beacons, pings, or HTTP requests).

At the same time, the service enables the statistical evaluation of the use of new functions and content on order confirmation pages by displaying test variants to certain user groups using cookies or comparable technologies. In the interest of improving the attractiveness of our website, this allows us to understand which variants are preferred by users.

11.7 TikTok Pixel

This website uses the conversion tracking technology of the following provider: TikTok Technology Limited, 10 Earlsfort Terrace, Dublin, D02 T380, Ireland

If you have reached our website via an advertisement on the provider's domain, the success of the advertisement can be tracked with the help of cookies and/or comparable technologies (tracking pixels, web beacons, pings, or HTTP requests).

12.4 Google Maps

This website uses an online map service from the following provider: Google Maps (API) from Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google").

Google Maps is a web service for displaying interactive (land) maps in order to visualize geographic information. Through the use of this service, our location is displayed to you and any potential journey is facilitated.

As soon as you access subpages into which the Google Maps map is integrated, information about your use of our website (such as your IP address) is transmitted to Google servers and stored there; this may also involve a transfer to the servers of Google LLC. in the USA. This takes place regardless of whether Google provides a user account that you are logged into or whether a user account exists. If you are logged into Google, your data will be directly assigned to your account. If you do not wish for the data to be associated with your Google profile, you must log out before activating the button. Google stores your data (even for users who are not logged in) as user profiles and evaluates them.

The collection, storage, and evaluation are carried out in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR on the basis of Google's legitimate interest in displaying personalized advertising, market research, and/or designing Google websites to meet requirements. You have a right to object to the creation of these user profiles, and you must contact Google to exercise this right. If you do not agree to the future transmission of your data to Google in the context of using Google Maps, you also have the option of completely deactivating the Google Maps web service by turning off the JavaScript application in your browser. Google Maps, and thus also the map display on this website, can then not be used.

Data may also be transferred to: Google LLC, USA

The processing of personal data in the course of establishing a connection with the font provider only takes place if you have given us your explicit consent to do so in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. 12.6 Google reCAPTCHA

On this website, we use the CAPTCHA service of the following provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland

For the visual design of the captcha window, "Google Fonts," i.e., fonts loaded from the internet by Google, are used by the provider. No further information beyond what is stated above, which is already transmitted to Google via the functionality of reCAPTCHA, is processed in this process.

The service checks whether an input is made by a natural person or abusively by machine or automated processing, and blocks spam, DDoS attacks, and similar automated harmful access. To ensure that an action is performed by a human and not by an automated bot, the provider collects the IP address of the end device used, identification data of the browser and operating system type used, as well as the date and duration of the visit and transmits this to the provider's servers for evaluation. Cookies, i.e., small text files that are stored in the browser of the end device, may be used for this purpose.

Insofar as the processing described above is based on cookies, these are only set if you have given us your explicit consent to do so in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future by deactivating this service in the "Cookie Consent Tool" provided on the website.

If the processing described above is carried out without the use of cookies, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in determining individual responsibility on the internet and preventing abuse and spam in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

In the processing of personal data that is necessary for the performance of a contract with you (this also applies to processing operations required for carrying out pre-contractual measures), Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR serves as the legal basis. If you have given us consent for the processing of your data, the processing takes place on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. Granted consent can be revoked at any time with effect for the future.

If the applicant is not selected or if an applicant withdraws their application prematurely, their transmitted data as well as all electronic correspondence, including the application email, will be deleted after notification, at the latest after 6 months. This period is based on our legitimate interest in answering any follow-up questions regarding the application and, if necessary, in being able to fulfill our obligations to provide evidence under the regulations on the equal treatment of applicants.
